Came in by chance as we had a day off work. We both had the special steak sizzler, lots of lovely onions and mushrooms and skin on chips with the steak on top. Absolutely stunning. We ate it all. I had a lager shandy and he had the stout ( we wanted Guinness ) Good value , lovely clean decor, lovely staff too. We would definitely come for food again and try the Sunday lunch

We was a large group of 22 people, who all had food. We pre ordered food a couple of days before, so it was easier for the pub and our group. The food went down well with everyone and the prices were great for what we had. The only issue we had was there was a long wait for the pizza, they did come out and apologise saying there was an issue with the oven, once it came out my niece said it was worth the wait it tasted amazing. The atmosphere was really good, we had 3 young kids with us and they were so accommodating, the staff r friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely be coming back

A lovely pub local to us. Staff are friendly and efficient. The food is delicious - we've now had a chicken roast (which was an incredible £6 as a special that day) and a beef roast on a Sunday and it's probably one of the best roasts I've ever eaten. Tastes as good as your gran would make - beef gravy to die for. Looking forward to coming back for lunch again and checking out their quiz night and Friday evening entertainment.
